Every tour includes your return transfer from your accommodation. Share tours and full day charters include lunch, half day charters include light refreshments, and all charters include snorkelling gear and bottled water. The full day charter also includes towels, sunscreen and mosquito repellent.

Reef shoes, a hat, sunscreen, mosquito repellent and a towel. Bring a life jacket for any child under three. Cold cans are available on the boat for five dollars each.

Share tours, private charters and fishing charters leave from Vaipae Hollywood Wharf on the eastern side of the island. The Honeymoon Island water taxi leaves from Arutanga Harbour.

Yes. Return transfers from your accommodation are included on every tour and charter, so you do not need a vehicle. Tell us where you are staying when you book and we will agree a pick-up time with you.

Half day private charters run 9am to 12pm or 1pm to 4pm. Full day charters run 9am to 2pm. The share tour is five hours and the fishing charter is four. Share tour and fishing times are confirmed when you book.

Private charters and fishing charters take up to five guests. The charter price covers two, and each extra adult is charged per head. The share tour runs with a small group.

Yes. Children aged 6 to 11 travel at a reduced rate on every tour, and under fives are free on tours and charters. Please bring a life jacket for any child under three.

No. The snorkelling stops are in shallow, calm water and you can stay on the boat or in the shallows if you prefer. Tell the crew if you are not confident in the water and they will keep an eye on you.

That depends on the tour, the tide and the weather on the day. The share tour and full day charter cover four islands, usually Akaiami, Maina, Honeymoon Island and One Foot Island. The half day charter covers Akaiami and One Foot Island.

Giant clams, giant trevally and purple coral, mostly in water shallow enough to stand up in. Masks and fins are provided on every charter.

Time on the sand doing things our families have always done: plate and hat weaving, husking and grating coconuts, squeezing the cream by hand, uto, and the old fishing techniques with patia and spear. Children usually end up better at the weaving than their parents.

Share tours and full day charters include lunch, cooked on the sand. Tell us about any allergies or dietary needs when you book and we will work around them.

We will cancel, postpone or change the trip if the lagoon is unsafe. When we cancel for safety there is no cancellation fee, and you can reschedule or take a refund. If you decide not to come because of weather when we have not cancelled, the usual cancellation policy applies.

Yes. An extra hour on a private charter is two hundred dollars for two guests. A Honeymoon Island stop is one hundred and fifty dollars for two, then fifty dollars per extra guest. Both can be ticked on the booking form.

Yes. Birthdays, anniversaries, proposals and family groups are all welcome, and a private charter is the one to pick. Tell us what you have in mind when you send your dates.

As early as you can, especially between June and October. We need at least two days notice, and popular dates go well before that.

Bank transfer before the trip, or cash on the day. We do not accept card payments. The details are sent with your confirmation.

Yes, on charters. The amount and the due date are shown on your confirmation email.

We need at least 48 hours notice to change or cancel a confirmed booking. Cancelling later than that incurs a fifty percent fee, and not showing up means the full amount is payable.

Please leave the coral, shells and marine life where they are. Take photographs and leave footprints, as the sign says. The lagoon feeds our families and it is the reason people come to Aitutaki.
