The safety of our guests and crew comes before everything else. Every trip starts with a briefing, and the captain will tell you what to expect before we leave the wharf.
On the boat
- A safety briefing covering the boat, the gear and the plan for the day.
- A first aid kit and a fire extinguisher carried on every trip.
- Life jackets onboard for adults and children. Please bring your own for children under three.
- Please stay in the designated safe areas when the captain or crew ask you to.
- No smoking and no alcohol onboard.
Weather and lagoon conditions
We watch the forecast and the lagoon every morning. If conditions are unsafe we will cancel, postpone or change the trip, and when we do that for safety there is no cancellation fee. You can reschedule or take a refund.
If you decide not to come because of the weather when we have not cancelled, the usual cancellation policy still applies.
Swimming and snorkelling
Guests swim and snorkel at their own responsibility, and we ask everyone to follow the crew in the water. Tell us about anything that affects how safely you can take part, including how confident a swimmer you are, whether you have been in the sea recently, and anything the crew should watch for. There is no need to go in at all if you would rather stay aboard.
Children
Children are welcome on every trip and are the reason we keep the groups small. Parents stay responsible for their own children on the boat and in the water. Please bring a life jacket for any child under three.
Respect for the lagoon and islands
- Please do not litter or throw anything into the lagoon.
- Do not stand on, touch or damage coral.
- Do not remove coral, shells, marine life or other natural items.
