Booking and confirmation
- All bookings must be confirmed before the tour date.
- Once your booking is confirmed, the date and tour time are reserved for you.
- Book early to secure your preferred date.
Payment
- Payment arrangements are confirmed at the time of booking.
- Sunrise Lagoon Tours does not accept card payments.
- Confirming your booking means you agree to our booking and cancellation policy.
Cancellations, 48 hours
- We need at least 48 hours' notice to cancel or change a confirmed booking.
- Cancelling less than 48 hours before your tour incurs a 50% cancellation fee.
- The 50% fee also applies if you decide at the last minute not to go out because of weather, unless we have cancelled the tour for safety reasons.
- The 50% fee also applies if you cancel because you have booked with another boat company.
No-shows
- If you do not arrive for your confirmed tour, the full tour payment is required and no refund is given.
- Arriving too late for the tour to reasonably be delayed is treated as a no-show.
Weather and safety
- The safety of our guests and crew always comes first.
- We may cancel, postpone or change a tour if weather or lagoon conditions are unsafe.
- If we cancel for unsafe conditions, the 50% fee does not apply. You may reschedule or receive a refund, depending on the circumstances.
- If you decide not to attend because of weather when we have not cancelled, the cancellation policy above still applies.
On the boat
- Please follow all instructions from the captain and crew.
- Safety equipment, a first-aid kit and a fire extinguisher are carried onboard.
- Stay in the designated safe areas when the captain or crew ask you to.
- No smoking and no alcohol onboard.
Swimming and snorkelling
- You swim and snorkel at your own responsibility.
- Follow the captain and crew's instructions while in the water.
- Tell the crew about anything that may affect your ability to take part safely.
Respect for the lagoon and islands
- Please do not litter or throw anything into the lagoon.
- Do not stand on, touch or damage coral.
- Do not remove coral, shells, marine life or other natural items.
- Help us protect the natural beauty of Aitutaki Lagoon.
Belongings and conduct
- You are responsible for your own belongings during the tour.
- Sunrise Lagoon Tours is not responsible for lost, damaged or misplaced items.
- Please treat the captain, crew, other guests, local communities, islands and marine life with respect.
- We may refuse or end a tour if behaviour creates a safety concern or disrupts other guests.

By confirming your booking with Sunrise Lagoon Tours, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to the booking, cancellation, safety and guest policies above.
